Release Control
Release Restrictions and Control
The need to control implies the fear of being out of control. Only if you live in fear of your emotions, do you feel the need to control them. Only a singer who is afraid to miss a note, or fears his voice will crack, feels the need to control it.
To control implies holding something in check. Breathing is movement: movement of air, muscles and organs, of energy. A healthy voice trusts the body\’s intelligence, and allows free movement of air, vocal cords, and all muscles involved.
Those who have been trained to control their breath also have the most restricted breathing patterns. It is not felt as restricted until they experience this freedom of movement.
A healthy body is a body that is free to flow with the energy, rather than be controlled by synthetic and artificial means.
