Are the Islanders psychic?

Are the ‘Islanders’ psychic ?

The ‘Islanders’ are also involved in imagining the emotional states of others in order to understand, predict and manipulate their behavior. This also applies to interpreting their mental states, dispositions, intentions and motivations.

When data processing between the ‘Islanders’ and the neo cortex cannot be completed, because we resist completing an experience, our decision making process will not include all somatic markers and will thus contain incomplete data.

It’s then hard to keep a problem in perspective. Those with a vibrant intellect but a ‘flat’ emotional life are paralyzed by simple decision making tasks. They are preoccupied by details, like sorting through a filing system without tabs.

Incomplete data forces one to read each folder’s content before an intelligent decision can be made. Researchers concluded that emotions dictate which bits of data are used.

The consequences of all trauma experienced in the past is an emotional deficit. It resembles unfinished experiences and thus unfinished developments of both the prefrontal lobes and the ‘Islander’s region.

Forgiveness allows us to finalize an experience. Emotional charges are removed from the somatic marker and the experience can now be appreciated for what it is, and be used as pure information in future decision making.

Our c2C practice includes forgiveness.
