Earth Dynamics

Earth Dynamics

Earth-Dynamic farming or gardening is not easily learned from a textbook. It is best learned through observation and feedback from a practicing bio-dynamic farmer or gardener.

Instead of indiscriminate distribution of vast quantities of compost and organic materials over the soil, the correct disposition of specific quantities of specific qualities of organics can maximize a crop’s potential more effectively.

It’s more than organic gardening. The integrated relationship between plant, animal, human, and soil has to be understood.

Bio-dynamics is a combination of organic farming to improve the soil, and dynamic practices that are intended to (1) bring about the harmonious influence of the metaphysical aspects of the farm / garden and (2) adapt to the natural rhythms such as planting during certain phases of the lunar calendar.

Benefits of natural farming:

  • Decrease in the cost of farming.
  • Increase in productivity and profit
  • Can achieve sustainable agricultural development.
  • Can preserve quality of surface water and groundwater.
  • People will greatly benefit by the consumption of healthy pure food.
  • Longevity of the produce and taste of vegetables, fruits etc will greatly increase.
  • Can preserve quality of soil, by eliminating the toxins of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
  • In the absence of pesticide , the butterflies & bees get more attracted to the flowers, resulting in more pollination and higher production.
  • Liquid manures used in natural farming helps to make available all nutrients from the soil to the plants and, the micro flora supports improvement in soil fertility.

Previous experiences with Chemical farming:

  • GMO seeds have brought misery to the farmers.
  • Food grains, vegetables and fruits have pesticide residues affecting the health of people.
  • Surface water & ground water is polluted. It is not anymore safe for human beings & animals.
  • Chemical farming makes farmers heavily dependent on costly chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
  • With increase in use of fertilizers and pesticides the cost of farming is excessively increasing day by day.
  • Agriculture becomes a less profitable and more risky profession, where small and marginal farmers are the worst sufferers.
  • Production is declining. Humus content of soil decreases and chemical content increases. Thus the soil becomes infertile.

The Groasis Ecological Water Saving Technology is a biomimicry technology and consists of:

  • Improving the soil with compost and mycorrhizae;
  • Using the right primary roots which are not twisted, but extend vertically downwards;
  • Using the Waterboxx® plant cocoon to plant productive trees, shrubs or vegetables with high water saving. The Waterboxx® plant cocoon is made from a high quality polypropylene (plastic) and is re-usable for 10 years;
  • Using the biodegradable Growboxx® plant cocoon to plant a (productive) tree in combination with vegetables, shrubs or flowers. The biodegradable Growboxx® plant cocoon can be used one year only;
    Using the Growsafe Telescoprotexx plant protector to protect a young tree against the heat in the summer, frost in the winter, light intensity from the sun and grazing animals. The Growsafe Telescoprotexx is made from polypropylene;
  • Using the Biogrowsafe plant protector to protect a young tree against the heat in the summer, frost in the winter, light intensity from the sun and grazing animals. The Biogrowsafe is made from biodegradable paper and can be used one year only;
  • Making planting holes with one of the Groasis capillary drills on any surface (even rocks), while leaving the capillary structure intact;
  • Making terraces while using the Groasis Terracedixx for a better water infiltration (25 to 75% more infiltration) during a rainfall.
