Slow Blinking
- Look at a slightly blurred object. When nearsighted, look at a far object. If you are farsighted or presbyopic, look at a near object.
- Take a deep breath and focus on the smallest detail you can see on the blurred object.
- Close your eyes, and as you exhale, relax, and slowly blow out all the air from your lungs, while repeating the word “relax” mentally or out loud.
- As you inhale, look at the smallest detail you can see on the blurred object.
- Continue to slow blink timed to your breathing: exhale/eyes closed…. inhale/detail….etc.
