Focus In- & Outward

Continuation of Exercise:

  1. Focus your attention outward on a human being.

  2. Follow the same procedures as described in 1-8.

  3. Chose different individuals and do the same procedure as described above until you reach a result that you would like to share with the work/play shop facilitator.

  4. Focus your attention inward on a particular belief you have.

  5. Follow the same procedures as described in 1-8.

  6. Chose different beliefs and do the same procedure as described above until you reach a result that you would like to share with the work/play shop facilitator.

  7. Select an object and become conscious of the space taken up by that object.

  8. Perceive its weight, density, and exposed surfaces.

  9. Practice Belly Breathing to facilitate this process.

  10. Immerse yourself into every aspect of the object by feeling it as if it were you.

  11. Label the object just as it is. (It’s a …….)

  12. Select different objects, people, and beliefs and do on each of them the procedures as described in 17-20 until you reach a result that you would like to share with the work/play shop facilitator.
