The Gut Brain
The Brain in the Gut
The Enteric Nervous System (ENS)
Whereas the ANS is designed to help us process the actions from everyday’s life events and experiences, our digestive system is designed to digest the foods we take in.
We don’t have to think about HOW to digest the salad, soup or sandwich. Our body’s innate intelligence knows how to break down and absorb what it needs and eliminate the rest.
The CNS operates in the similar way but more like an electrical system that gently fluctuates, keeping our energy levels within an acceptable range.
The SNS energizes us. Its PSNS branch discharges excess energy and relaxes the body.

"The gutbrain can think & feel and is therefore the Joyous Master Brain. The Skullbrain is its Serious Slave. Today’s society has this reversed, with all the nasty consequences for each and all of us."
