Traumatic symptoms not only affect your emotional and mental states, but your physical health as well. When no cause for a physical malady (from Candida Overgrowth?) can be found, stress and trauma are the most likely candidates.

Trauma can make someone blind, mute, or deaf; it can cause paralysis in legs, arms, or both; it can bring about chronic neck and back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, bronchitis, asthma, gastrointestinal problems, severe PMS, migraines, and a whole host of so-called psycho-somatic conditions.

Any physical system capable of binding the un-discharged arousal energy caused by trauma is fair game. This trapped energy will use any part of our physiology available.

Denial keeps the traumatized persona in its grip until the primitive processes that guard the system decide to let go.

We may come out of denial, because we feel safe, because another event triggers a memory, or because our biology says ”enough is enough!!”
