How about combat?
How to apply this system successfully in combat?
A mere intellectual grasp of a technique does NOT make it spontaneously manifest in a fight. They have to be practiced until the he/she applies the appropriate technique without conscious deliberation over individual movements.
The movements and flow of each technique has to be as spontaneously as a reflex, without time delay. There is no single, nor a collection of a few techniques that can cover the vast spectrum of randomness within which fights occur.
However, it is possible to internalize a basic number of universal patterns and techniques, which the subconscious mind will modify and combine. This provides the trained martial artist with constructive responses to practically any situation likely to occur.
How to internalize and memorize a martial technique?
The information retained through focused attention can be far greater than through mindless repetition. The most efficient internalizing method involves mind and body unity, with the mind consciously guiding the motions of the body.
The goal is to maintain focused attention on both the mental and the kinesthetic processes.
