Now, IPCC climate models project an earth surface temperature increase between 1 and 6 &deg;C between 1990 and 2100.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">This increase is expected to cause rises in ocean levels, intensity of extreme weather events, and changes in the amount and pattern of rain.
