Thoth<\/span><\/a>, later Hermes Trismegistus<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Around 36.000 BC, Toth erected the Great Pyramid over the entrance to the Great Halls of Amenti, placed in it his records, and appointed guards from among the highest of his people.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In later times, the descendants of these guards became the pyramid priests, by which Thoth was deified as the God of Wisdom, the Recorder.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His passing was followed by the age of darkness. In legend, the halls of Amenti became the underworld, the Halls of the Gods, where the soul passed after death for judgment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In later ages, Thoth incarnated into the bodies of men, as described in the emerald tablets. As such, he incarnated 3 times, in the last known as Hermes, the thrice-born.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this incarnation, he left the writings, known to modern occultists as the Emerald Tablets<\/span><\/a>, a later and far lesser exposition of the ancient mysteries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
