2-D and 3-D Focus

With 2-Dimensional Attention, you are looking at someone or something and merely perceive them, whether you look through a hard or soft focus lens. It is an ‘I > It’ experience.

With 3-Dimensional Attention, you immerse yourself in the experience. You are in the present and feel more alive, both through a hard or soft focus lens. It is a ‘WE’ experience.

Let’s practice this together for awhile……………

We concluded that it’s better and healthier to accept pain and feel it than flee from, or fight it. Zooming in towards it, rather than away from it, we create a low frequency, stable and flexible brain wave pattern. This allows pain to diffuse into a broader awareness and thus dissipate and dissolve.

The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not your brains, nor the spotlight-holding persona. Only a part of you that wants to pay attention: the student or the teacher in you, the employee, the member of a specific group, etc.

This realization enables you to observe your thoughts. The moment you start observing them, some other level of consciousness is activated. You become aware of the sacred Presence of your Being, the one behind the one that thinks.
