Zoom into the Pain?
Zoom into all your Pains instead ?
Maintaining a tense, emergency mode of attention, will tire you out. So you need another cup of tea or coffee to muster the energy to keep paying attention or grab a cigarette or a class of wine to relieve the tension of narrow focus.
Chronic 2D Object-Attention prevents the diffusion of stress. Its accumulation causes you to be less productive over time. People complain about lack of concentration, listlessness, diminished sexual activity, low productivity, ADD or AD/HD, seizures, and depression. They may resolve when they learn to shift out of a narrow attention mode.
2D Spatial-Attention allows you to step back from 2D Object-Attention and discover the laws behind the environment of nature, tribe, nation, world, star systems. It enhances your ability to evaluate and analyze them.
If a part of me operates in a mode of 2D Object-Attention it does so because it is NOT feeling secure and safe. Most personas in us were created in an environment of scarcity or pain. Thus, these parts like to keep the Spotlight Lens in a narrow focus, so as not to have to feel the pain they carry.
The few parts not born in such states of being can easily switch back and forth between narrow and diffuse focus. Those entities allow you to see 2D in narrow focus, as well as see 3D in a softer, and more diffuse focus.

By zooming into the Pain rather than away from it, we create a low frequency, stable and flexible brain wave pattern. This allows the pain to diffuse into a broader awareness and so dissipate and dissolve. We concluded that it’s better and healthier to accept and feel it than flee from or fight it.
