Uncover Issues
Uncover more Issues
It is vital to uncover multiple aspects of an issue, so as to give the client multiple reasons to move forward in the process of change or healing. Once an issue is successfully expanded, the process repeats itself. Uncover the next issue and expand it by uncovering the implications of the issue.
“To what extend is issue #1 important?” Go deeper until all pain is felt and issue #1 is clear. “What about issue #2?”, etc. A relationship is built with the client by enriching and deepening the conversation.
The issue questions should make people comfortable enough to openly share their thoughts, feelings, pains and concerns but not go so far that they feel pumped for information.
