Immersed Attention
Immersed Attention ?
We call the process of observing the mental, emotional, and physiological effects inside oneself or inside someone else:
‘Attention Immersion’
This is different from more spatial or soft focus Attention, whereby our attention beam energizes the contours of an animate/inanimate object plus the immediate space around it.
We experience this ancient human skill as a new skill, a new sense, called ‘Felt Sense‘ by Peter Levine, researcher and author of the book "Awaking the Tiger".
Using the Socratic/Platonic practice of continuously asking questions often leads to new insights in and new global views of the functioning of whatever you pay attention to.
