"The white Dragon as Angel of Completion"
In European cultures, the dragon is mostly seen as a winged reptile behaving in an aggressive/destructive way, which has to be slain by a fearless hero, who then becomes a legendary fully sovereign Being, or Saint, like St. Michael or St. George:

It is also used as a symbol of power and authority by the Welsh kings of Aberffraw who 1st adopted the dragon in the 5th century in order, after the Romans withdrew from Britain. In the 7th century, it became the Red Dragon of Cadwaladr:

The dragon is also part of the Arthurian legends, where King Arthur’s father was named the Dragon Head, as well as the prophecy of Merlin about a fight between a red dragon and a white dragon, symbolising the Welsh and the English kings.

In China the dragon represents both a spiritual and an exoteric, cultural symbol that represents prosperity and harmony. They symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rain, hurricanes, and floods:

The Chinese dragon is a wingless dragon that lives in the east and is associated with fertility. It is the kind of dragon that is a good natured and benevolent mythological creature. With its serpentine body it can be found in the water, in the sky and across the landscape.
The dragon is often depicted as playing with a ball of fire symbolizing this Vital Ch’i Life Force, at the center of which is the precious Pearl, which symbolizes the Elixir of Life and Wisdom sought after by alchemists throughout time.
There are nine types of classical Chinese dragons:
- Tianlong, are the Celestial Dragons who pull the chariots of the gods and guard their palaces.
- Shenlong; Spiritual Dragons controlling wind and rain.
- Fucanglong; Underworld Dragons that guard natural & man-made buried treasures. Volcanoes are created when they burst out of the ground to report to heaven.
- Dilong, are Earth Dragons who preside over rivers and streams. They are the female counterpart of the Shenlong and fly only in order to mate.
- Yinglong, the Winged Dragons, are the oldest of all eastern dragons and the only kind with wings.
- Qiulong, the Horned Dragons, are considered to be the mightiest dragons.
- Panlong, the Coiling Dragons, are water dragons believed to mostly inhabit the lakes of the Orient.
- Huanglong, the Yellow Dragons are known for their scholarly knowledge. They emerged from the River Luo and presented the legendary Emperor Fu Hsi with the elements of writing.
- Lóng Wáng, the Dragon Kings, are rulers over each of the four seas, those of the east, south, west, and north. Although their true form is that of a dragon, they are able to shapeshift into human form. They live in crystal palaces guarded by shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

The early dragon depicted the Crocodylus porosus, a saltwater crocodile, which is the largest living reptile, and once lived in China during very ancient times. The crocodile is known to be able to accurately sense changes in air pressure, and be able to sense coming rain.
It is the Buddhists who made a distinction between the evil mountain dragons, which made trouble for the people, and the water dragons, which were considered beneficial.

Thus, the internal evil dragon has to be subdued and bridled, so that its light & beneficial aspects and rewards can be used and experienced in the human flesh on the earthly plane.

The Dragon Symbol

The Chinese dragon is unique. It has no wings and yet can fly in the sky. Its horns are like deer antlers and its ears like a goat. The dragon has scales like a lizard and clawed feet like an eagle. The Chinese dragon commands attention by appearing noble, but fearful to the uninitiated.

The two-horned 5-clawed dragon was designated for use by the Son of Heaven or Emperor only, while the 4-clawed dragon was used by the princes and nobles, and the 3-clawed dragon for everyone else.
Emperor Dragons are the wisest, largest, and most powerful dragons. As legends have it, the few remaining Imperial Dragons spend their time guarding their vast treasures of wisdom and gold, gathered over many millennia.

If an Imperial Dragon is provoked to battle, few warriors are able to kill it. There are even fewer individuals capable of taming their internal Dark 5-toes Imperial Dragon, with its dominating, cold, and aloof mindset. 10/10/2024 (37.2 yrs) ?

Fenghuang are mythological birds of East Asia that reign over all other birds. Blurred into a single feminine entity, it represents the Empress, so that the bird can be paired with the Emperor, the 5-clawed dragon, and thus represent a perfectly balanced marriage.
The fenghuang is also called the "August Rooster" since it sometimes takes the place of the Rooster in the Chinese zodiac. In the West, it is commonly called the Phoenix, the symbol of resurrection and rejuvenation.
The phoenix, the ‘queen of birds’, also symbolizes good fortune and opportunity as it appears only in times of peace and prosperity.
In Chinese mythology, the phoenix is a benevolent bird since it does not harm insects, and each of its body parts represents one of the virtues of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, knowledge, and sincerity.

2024: Year of the Dragon
Believers say their zodiac animal’s fortune depends on the positions of the Tai Shui – the stellar deities thought to rotate parallel to and in the opposite direction of the planet Jupiter.
If your zodiac sign is out of favor with Tai Sui that year, experts say you might find yourself facing more disruptions and changes than usual.
To resolve clashes, one could go to a Chinese temple and make offerings to representations of Tai Sui, aka the Grand Duke of Jupiter.
