Your Mental Asylum?

How about your mental, lunatic asylum ?

Most of us are living in 2D Object- and Spatial-Attention Focus, such as looking at or thinking about something / someone in a past or future tense. Flexible Focus means focusing on both the Object and its background Space.

Flexible Focus leads to a multidimensional 3D-experience of life and a subsequent release of stress. A more diffuse focus includes the no-thingness, form-lessness of the surrounding space. A focus on actually feeling something or someone.

Identification with the mind leads to compulsive thinking. Endless thoughts parading by is a dreadful affliction, but is considered "normal" by most of us. Thoughts are words. Words, however, can only represent the real thing, they are not the real thing. Words are symbols. They allow us to gain and communicate an intellectual comprehension.

They do not facilitate experiential clarity about an experience, such as feeling it would do. When symbols are substituted for feelings, things can get very complicated.
